Barty :. How did you manage to install a ti in a laptop? Your FPS being low when on battery on a laptop is indicative of "power management" settings. You probably have "low" or "balanced" when on battery and "high performance" when plugged in.
You can change those settings in "power management". Again though, a ti in a laptop? Unless you've added an external GPU dock Turb0Yoda Honorable Herald. Jul 12, 66 0 10, 6. Gtx 1080 low fps
Bought a GTX ti like 2 months back and haven't been able to really get the most out of it. Also even when playing minecraft with shaders I can only get 30fps. What is going on? Please help because I cant really enjoy my games at the current moment and want to fix this before BFV releases. Unolocogringo Splendid. Dec 31, 6, 28, Reboot into safe mode. And no you should not be bottlenecked with your setup. I run 2 GTX s on a i7 k 4. In fact my set up does as well but usually better then Ryzen series and doesn't lag to far behind even Intel 8 series CPUs much at 4K they are all pretty muched tied Point being your issue is likely something in drivers or software.

Apparently this is mitigated by changing the power management under NCP from optimal to max performance. At least for me it did.
Also, anyone get low fps sometimes? I hear changing vsynch under NCP again from 3d setting to off helps rid it. Maybe this doesn't happen to newer systems as mine is 8 years old planning upgrade next year or maybe my i7 or ram is bottlenecking the system as a whole to cause such stutters at the beginning.

Did you uninstall the AMD drivers thoroughly? If not, try running Display Driver Uninstaller. First uninstall driver and than boot in safe mode and clean. I think with last driver and physx only situation should be better.
You could overclock your CPU little because X58 is little old. Still is good but you need all power from him. Guess I will give that a try then. Yes, I always use DDU before upgrading to a new driver. Usually I just uninstall driver, reboot, DDU, reboot, install new drivers, reboot. Never really needed safe mode but I guess it doesn't hurt. Right now I am contemplating if For some reason it takes about that long for me while it takes about seconds for AMD.
Not sure why that is the case. It stops at uninstalling drivers then stays there for some time before finishing up. Last edited by Morisato; at AM.

Does Anyone have a fix? I get around fps in Vanilla MC in 1. You have to remember Minecraft is not very optimized like other games. That was just with the auto overclock my motherboard can do. It's actually 4. I spent a lot on this machine I don't want to replace any parts anytime soon.
The base clock speed is more than enough for me. If you have Nvidia GeForce Experience installed, make sure you disable the overlay feature.
Well, you can't really complain, if what is essentially a modded game doesn't run as good as AAA titles, can you? However in my experience, there are very big differences to shader performances.

Since I bought this pc, I've had fps problems. I'm pretty sure it's a CPU problem, but if you have any other suggestions, write them anyways. Also, my in-game settings make no difference at all. I've tried: Disabling hyperthreading.

To increase the allocated memory, go to your Minecraft launcher, edit your profile and on the bottom set your java virtual machine settings to allocate at least 4G.
